Joseph and Grace House Dedication & Community Training

Introduction

On 12th May 2025, Steflomu Organization, had the privilege of joining forces with Methodist Treatment and Rehabilitation and MCK Bio-Intensive in a house dedication ceremony for Joseph and Grace in Kibuurine Sublocation, Nkurine Village, Giaki area. This collaborative effort was not only a celebration of a new beginning for their household but also an opportunity to uplift and empower Grace with essential knowledge and resources.

Our Mission & Vision

Steflomu Organization is committed to fostering sustainable development, empowerment, and social well-being within communities. Our mission is to ensure that vulnerable individuals have access to fundamental resources, education, and opportunities that enhance their quality of life. By addressing challenges such as health, hygiene, education, and economic stability, we strive to create lasting change.

Our vision is to build a society where individuals, regardless of their circumstances, have the tools and knowledge needed to thrive. Through holistic programs and strategic partnerships, we aim to inspire resilience, self-sufficiency, and collective progress.

Collaborative Support & Training

As part of this initiative, we conducted a training session for Grace, a 20-year-old mother of two, covering:

  • Family planning to equip her with knowledge for informed reproductive health decisions.
  • Personal hygiene to ensure a healthier home environment.
  • Use of reusable sanitary pads as an affordable, sustainable menstrual health solution.

To further support her well-being, we provided Grace with a packet of reusable sanitary pads and accessories, reinforcing our commitment to menstrual health awareness and economic sustainability.

Impact & Community Engagement

This collaborative effort with Methodist Treatment and Rehabilitation and MCK Bio-Intensive underscores the power of partnerships in delivering comprehensive support. Together, we are working towards a future where vulnerable families receive practical education, sustainable health solutions, and essential resources that empower them in their daily lives.

Our engagement with Grace aligns with our broader mission of uplifting communities through holistic interventions, ensuring individuals are equipped with the tools and knowledge to thrive.

Looking Ahead

This house dedication and training session reaffirmed our commitment to community-driven development. Moving forward, Steflomu Organization, alongside our dedicated partners, will continue advocating for reproductive health education, menstrual hygiene awareness, and sustainable solutions that empower individuals like Grace to lead healthier, more secure lives.

We invite partners, volunteers, and donors to join us in expanding these efforts, ensuring that more families receive the support they need to build brighter futures.
